An Honest Review Of The Fat Burning Furnace Program

Hi everyone my name is Grace and for a little while now I’ve been trying to lose weight. I’ve been eating a bit healthier and have been running on the treadmill in my Garage.

To be completely honest my results haven’t been very good. I’ve lost a couple of pounds but I thought that after 30 days of running on a treadmill and eating more broccoli I would have lost more.
The problem is that I really didn’t know what I was doing when it comes to losing weight. This is why I decided to get serious. So I did my research and looked all over the net for information that would help me to lose weight.

In my search for information I discovered that there are 2 products that seem to be very popular when it comes to weight loss. They are..

  • P90X
  • Fat Burning Furnace

After reading more about these programs I learned that to do the P90X program you needed to be pretty fit already before you start and you need to buy quite a lot of equipment so I decided to buy the Fat Burning Furnace program and here we are right now a month later and I’m writing my review.

What do you get when you buy the Fat Burning Furnace program?

With the basic package you get;

  • The Fat Burning Furnace blueprint – 176 pages
  • Workout logs and progress tracker.
  • Metabolic rate calculator.
  • Body fat percentage calculator.

After you buy the basic Fat Burning Furnace program they also try to sell you a couple of addons.

I bought one of them which was a video series of all the workouts you learn inside the ebook being performed. You get over 30 videos showing you how to do the exercises.

But I’m getting ahead of myself here, I’ll talk more about the “extras” in a bit..

Here’s what you need to know about the Fat Burning Furnace ebook..

At 176 pages it’s pretty long and will take you a few hours to get through. Although it’s easy to read and well structured I recommend taking notes or even printing it out and going through it with a highlighter pen.

The first part of the ebook is a basic introduction and Rob (the creator of FBF) explains that he has seen his system work for everybody who has take action with it no matter whether they are man or woman, young or old. He explains that the Fat Burning Furnace system is the result of 10 years of trial and error and is something he believes in.

It’s all very encouraging to read.

What equipment do you need?

Well to be completely honest it would help if you are a member of a gym although it is not necessary. You’ll learn inside the Fat Burning Furnace how you can get results by using just your own body weight however for best results it would help if you had access to a gym.

To be completely honest I don’t really like gyms. They’re always too busy and I don’t feel comfortable exercising in front of strangers. So if you want to get the best results and also workout from home Rob recommends that for your home gym you get;

  • Water bottle.
  • Workout gloves.
  • Wall clock or an easy to use alarm clock.
  • Chin up bar.
  • Bush up handles.
  • Workout bench.
  • Adjustable dumbbells.

From doing my research I discovered that the best adjustable dumbbells available today are the Powerblocks. See pic below.

At several hundred bucks the Powerblock dumbbells are expensive and are out of my price range but apparently they’re the best. Personally I borrowed some of my brothers dumbbells. They’re not as good as the Powerblocks but they do the job.

If you want to make your own home-gym that doesn’t take up a huge amount of space you’ll need to spend a few hundred bucks but this doesn’t really bother me because some gyms charge over a thousand dollars a year for membership so I don’t mind spending a few hundred on my own home-gym that I’ll be able to use for years to come. Plus it means I can exercise comfortably in private.

But if you don’t want to invest in your own home gym right now Rob shows how to use your own body weight to burn fat.

High Intensity Interval Training

As I said at the beginning of this post I have spent quite a while trying to lose weight on the treadmill. I have now come to realize from the FBF program that doing lots of cardio is not actually a good if you want to burn fat. The best thing you can do is to lift weights and this is what the FBF program focuses on. Lifting weights whether it be weights at a gym, dumbbells at home or just using your own body weight is how you burn fat.

The focus of the Fat Burning Furnace program is on doing high intensity interval workouts which means you do an intense exercise and then take a 30 second low intensity (interval) break before doing the next high intensity exercise.

Lets say you are doing an arm curl with the dumbbells. You will use the heaviest dumbbell you can manage properly and then do the arm curl to the point of failure, you then take a 30 second break before moving on to the next exercise.

Learn The Best Exercises You Can Do To Burn Fat

In the Fat Burning Furnace ebook Rob lists the 29 best exercises to burn fat. The next 30 pages then show pictures of how to do the exercises. The good thing about this section is that Rob shows you how you can do the exercises if you are working out at the gym or at home. Each picture also has a pretty detailed explanation of how to do the exercise.

Now if you’re like me you find it easier to learn by watching videos which is why I bought the add-on package which has around 30 videos of Rob showing you how to do the exercises. It’s not necessary that you buy it but the videos are very helpful.

The Fat Burning Furnace Routines

After the 30 pages showing you the exercises Rob then gives you detailed beginner, intermediate and advanced workout routines to follow. He covers everything from how long to exercise to how many days per week to do the workouts.

He also gives some great workout routines if you are exercising at a Gym or at home so there’s information in there for everyone. It’s nice that everything is covered and nothing is left out.

Rob explains people will see real results after just a few weeks but the life changing results may take about 12 weeks or so. He explains what to do after those 12 weeks to make sure that you keep fit for life.

What should you eat to stay healthy and burn fat?

Rob spends around 40 pages talking about diet and nutrition which is accompanied with a food chart and meal plans. There’s lots of foods that we are allowed to eat and I’m not disappointed withe the meal plans. The foods that Rob recommends to eat are a mixture of fruits/carbs, meat & protein and vegetables.

It’s nice to eat healthily but my only criticism about this section is that although there is some meal plans it would be nicer if there were more as it gets a bit boring cycling through the few that he has given.

This brings me on to the next add-on that Rob offers which if you take a look at the 2 pics below is 12 weeks of done for you meal plans and a meal plan generator. You just enter in a couple of details, click a button and it gives you a full days meal plan to follow.

This is great for people like us that want to get the best results.

The End Of The Fat Burning Furnace

The last part of the ebook contains some helpful tips and information that you’ll find helpful such as how much sleep you should be getting, how to get the best results if you are a senior and just general tips and tricks.

When you buy the Fat Burning Furnace program you also get a metabolic rate calculator and a body fat percentage calculator. These are very handy and you’ll need to use them to help track your results.

Here’s What You Really Need To Know

The workouts will take about 15-20 minutes at a time and they are intense! After my first day I was quite worn out. Doing maximum reps of exercises I’d never done before was hard but after I had done the workout and had a nice shower I felt great. When I am doing these intense workout routines I’m all sweaty and tired at the end of it but after I’ve had a shower and a protein shake I feel all energized and my mood improves. It’s great.

It used to be a nightmare in the past getting on the treadmill everyday but with the Fat Burning Furnace program you workout a few times per week so we have rest days but apparently because of the intensity of our workouts our body continues to burn fat even on the days we are resting.

My Fat Burning Furnace Conclusion

At first it annoyed me a little that I had to pay extra for the videos and meal plan generators but then I remembered that the FBF is a business and the extras are worth the money at the end of the day but sure it would be nice if they were included in the package fore free.

I think the program is wonderful in that it covers workout routines for everybody whether they have access to a gym or not and the section on dieting really opened my eyes that it is easy to eat healthily and there are lots of foods we can eat to stay healthy.

If you want best results you will have to spend some money on equipment but it’s worth it in my opinion because by spending a few bucks now we can help improve our health for the future.

Since I’ve been following the routines for a little over a month the main things that I have noticed is that;

  • I have more energy.
  • I am a lot slimmer and I’m losing weight quite rapidly. I’m not skinny yet but it’s still early days.
  • My skin is a lot clearer. I think this is due to all the sweating opening up my pores and then showering afterwards. I wear less makeup now.
  • I feel healthier and I also find it easier getting out of bed in the mornings feeling more energetic.

So yeah, the Fat Burning Furnace program is working for me. I still feel like I need to lose quite a bit more weight but so far I’m really happy with the results. Rob says that people really start to see peak results by week 12 so I’ve still got some time to go until then.

The key thing you need to remember is that you wont get results simply by buying the guide, you ultimately need to take action and follow the routines that Rob gives you. So if you can put in some effort and spare 15-20 minutes every few days to do some intense workouts then you’ll see results too.

Overall I would give the Fat Burning Furnace 4/5. My only real criticism is that there are other costs after you have bought the basic package such as gym membership or buying equipment for a home gym.
